What makes a hotel library culturally meaningful?
A hotel library can be more than an amenity. At its best, it preserves the intellectual life of a house, reveals the interests of former residents and creates a room where time moves differently.
We favour libraries that tell us something specific about a place. A decorative wall of anonymous books is not enough.
